Commissioned by Better Best agency, we created ALDO's festive campaign with a production design centered around an oversized shoebox that transformed the set into an immersive holiday environment. Rather than casting traditional models, we worked with South African Olympians whose natural athleticism and camera presence brought authenticity to the festive narrative. The shoot leaned into playful interaction with the giant shoebox, using it as both a bold visual statement and a functional set piece that the talent could engage with. We approached lighting and framing to emphasize scale and energy, creating moments that felt spontaneous and celebratory rather than rigidly choreographed. The resulting campaign elevated ALDO's festive messaging beyond standard product photography, capturing the joy and confidence of the holiday season while showcasing the shoes in a way that felt aspirational yet accessible, grounded in the real presence of accomplished athletes celebrating achievement and style.
